I am running for a seat on the Granite School Board because we need fresh, strong voices on our board who understand that parental input and involvement in their children's education is a right, not a privilege, and is in fact critical to the success of any education system. We need leaders who will tackle the underlying causes of teacher burnout and the unrealistic expectations currently overloading educators' plates. And we need board members who are willing to stand against unnecessary and harmful third-party influence in education. I will stand for each of these vital issues and more, because our kids and grandkids deserve to each have the opportunity, individually, to achieve their unique and full potential.
