I have served on the Kane County school board for the past 23+ years. As a parent of 6 children and a grandparent of 20. I have always taken the stance that a parent or guardian have control over their children education whether that is public, private, or home school education. I have been involved on Community Council and Parent teacher organizations prior to my service on the school board. The federal government should not be involved in education and the state should have limited control, the major control should be done on a local school board level. These social programs that foster the sexualization, grooming and those that foster superiority or inferiority between children just because of skin color or ethnicity are not acceptable. It’s hard enough growing up in this age of technology and change, kids need a chance to be kids and enjoy their educational experience without having all of this other garbage thrown at them giving them doubt in themselves
